Ingredients You’ll Need

Asian Pork Chop Recipes
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce (low sodium)
  • 1 pound light brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp Asian sweet and spicy sauce
  • 1 inch peeled and finely grated fresh ginger
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 1/2 pound boneless pork roast
  • cut into 2 to 2-inch cubes chunks of 1/2 inch
  • 1 teaspoon water
  • 2 teaspoons prepared cornstarch rice, for serving
  • 2 sliced green onions


  • Combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, chili sauce, ginger, and pepper in the bottom of your slow cooker cooking 
  • Stir in the pork to coat it in the sauce
  • Cook until the pork is thoroughly cooked and tender
  • When the pork is done, transfer it to a plate
  • Pour the remaining slow cooker sauce into a saucepan
  • Set the saucepan to medium heat
  • Bring the water to a boil
  • In a small bowl, combine the water and cornstarch
  • Pour the cornstarch mixture into the boiling sauce and cook for 4-5 minutes, or until lightly thickened
  • Return the sauce and pork to the slow cooker, 
  • Stirring to coat the meat with the sauce
  • Serve with rice 

Add sesame oil to your skillet pork chop to give it a beautiful color and a lot of flavors. Don’t cook it too long! Only 3 minutes on each side is required. Your pork chops should be cooked to an internal temperature of 135° and rested before serving. 

Center cut, bone-in pork chops with the right amount of fat are essential. Because they are on the bone, they don’t dry out as quickly when cooked. Within a minute sear one side of the pork chops (discard any leftover marinade). 

Reduce the heat to medium-high and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through but juicy. Allow for a few minutes of resting time before cutting the seared pork chops. Place them on a plate.

While the pork chops are resting, sauté any leafy green vegetables of your choice in the same pan you cooked the pork chops with a little garlic and extra oil if needed.

1 minute sear on one side of the pork chops (discard any leftover marinade). Reduce the heat to medium-high and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through but juicy.
